Summer Jobs, Internships And Teaching Positions - 2010

Thank you for your interest in a summer job or year round position with Windsor Mountain International Summer Camp or Student Travel. Throughout the autumn and winter months we will be accepting applications for summer camp and summer travel positions. The hiring process continues throughout the winter and spring until all positions are filled, so please try to get us your application materials as soon as possible.

We are always interested in hearing from new applicants who are eager to work together with young people from diverse backgrounds to create fun, challenging and educational summer experiences. Leadership at the summer camp and on travel programs requires a tremendous amount of dedication, hard work, and a commitment to personal growth, group living, cooperative decision making, community service and cross-cultural understanding. In return, you receive immeasurable personal and professional benefits in addition to a contract salary.

If this challenging opportunity appeals to you, please review the staff qualifications for the International Summer Camp and the Student Travel Programs. You can complete the staff application form on line and email it to us; or print and return it to Windsor Mountain via FAX, email or snail mail along with two recommendation letters, an optional photograph, a current resume and a cover letter.

Summer staff pay ranges broadly, but our travel leaders can earn up to $2400 for 4 weeks of work. We also offer low cost first aid and other training.

Interviews are conducted year round but the majority of our hiring is done from January through April.

Thanks again for your interest. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Danny English

"Windsor Mountain is a good match for me. YES it is, that is why I like coming back! I like the way you trust us, and how much freedom you give us within your limits. I agree with the way you like things to be done and I have learned from each of the trips I've led. They are all different, even doing Perù twice! I like Camp, YES I DO." "I´m back home since Sunday and it´s still hard to adjust to the real world: I´m always waiting for the bell to ring, I want to wear costumes while washing dishes and I do highs and lows with my cat...shouldn´t people be warned of these side-effects before applying for a summer camp job?" ... 2009 summer camp staff member

"Windsor Mountain's uniqueness is in its staff's ability to bridge cultural divides with friendship, respect and understanding.
I learned more than how to ride a mountain bike, play in a band, and paddle a kayak; I learned an entirely new way to approach intellectual, social and environmental issues that has stayed with me throughout my entire education and life."
Adam, camp staff
