We love food at Windsor Mountain! From homemade sticky buns at Sunday brunch to comfort foods like spaghetti Bolognese for dinner, our kitchen staff prepares meals that are creative, nutritious and delicious.
We rely on locally-grown ingredients as often as possible, bake our own rolls and supply fresh fruit and snacks. We offer vegetarian options for every meal. The daily salad bar offers a variety of vegetables and fruits, some of which the campers harvest from our garden, and everyone enjoys the delicious steak tips and ribs at the barbecues by the lake.
Windsor Mountain is a nut-free community, and we are able to accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions. We offer gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options at each meal. We are sensitive to and experienced with campers who have dietary restrictions and food allergies and work closely with them and their families to provide suitable accommodations.
Foods We Serve
Just to give a sense of the food we serve at our summer camp, here are a few items on the menu for all three meals of the day:
Breakfast: French Toast, eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, cinnamon buns, breakfast burritos, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, quiche
Lunch: pita pizzas, macaroni and cheese, deli sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, tacos, meatball subs, grilled cheese, burritos, chicken caesar wraps, soups, chili dogs, chicken/tuna salad
Dinner: spaghetti bolognese, taco bar, stir fry, barbecue chicken, hot dogs, cheese/veggie burgers, lasagne, thanksgiving in the summer, bulgogi, chicken artichoke, homemade pizza, beef stew, chicken noodle soup, chili and baked potato bar, baked ziti
