If you are creative, positive, self-driven, hard-working, motivated to make a difference and love working with children from all walks of life, then Windsor Mountain is the place for you. At Windsor Mountain you will get the freedom to teach whatever classes you choose within and outside your department and the freedom to teach your own way using your own personal style. In the living unit you can decorate however you like, you can run special activities with your dorm or cabin, you can think outside the box and really make the camp experience special for the campers.

At Windsor Mountain we do not tell our staff how to do their job, we tell them what needs to be done and offer support and guidance as the counselors use their own skills and interest to deliver a wonderful experience for the campers. As a pioneer of experiential learning, we believe that the best learning is done through experience, trying an activity and learning from your mistakes. Also, as the first international summer camp affiliated with the United Nations, we take special care to design programs that open students’ eyes to new cultures, people, ideas and situations. During our long history, our students and staff have represented all 50 states and over 60 countries.

2020 Staff Application

“Windsor Mountain’s uniqueness is in its staff’s ability to bridge cultural divides with friendship, respect and understanding. I learned more than how to ride a mountain bike, play in a band, and paddle a kayak; I learned an entirely new way to approach intellectual, social and environmental issues that has stayed with me throughout my entire education and life.”
