Ain’t Nothing Going To Slow Us Down! Oh No!
Energy is high at Windsor Mountain even though Mother Nature is blessing us with some rain. Our activities have been great and while some things have moved inside, others have been able to happen outside despite some drizzle here and there. No one seems to mind, everyone is excited to be here and to participate.
Our days have been packed full as we just completed our first three days of activities. From archery to pottery and everything in between, the campers are enjoying all the incredible activities the staff are offering. In the evenings, we’ve had a little Capture the Flag, a Campfire and Trivia Night. Tomorrow, we’re kicking off the Windsor Mountain Olympics with an opening ceremony. The campers and staff will be divided into teams where they will determine their country (make-believe) and then design a flag, tee-shirt, national anthem and a skit to reenact the country’s history. Following our opening celebration, the countries will parade into the Windsor arena. Tomorrow night, the campers will spend some quality time with their counselors and bunk mates as it is BUNK NIGHT!
