Sharing Staff Stories: Part 5
Today, we have a cherished memory from the Cabins, the living unit for our boys ages 7-12. Samie will be returning for summer 2026 as the Cabins Living Unit Coordinator. Here is a story from his days as a bunk counselor. 
“A memory that always pops into my head from camp is from last year, when all the cabin campers and counselors went down to the waterfront for rest hour. It was definitely not an hour of rest, but I would not have wished for it to be any other way, and I have a feeling the campers would agree. From the ‘Black pond tag’ with my cabin, to diving off the dive tower, water fights, just people smiling and laughing, anywhere you looked, everyone was just having the best time. I specifically remember taking a moment, sat in a rubber ring, thinking what a good feeling it was to be able to be a part of creating moments like this.”
