WHY WINDSOR MOUNTAIN?

What makes our camp unique? It’s the inclusive, kind, wacky community that exists here and the special people who make it so. Its the freedom we give staff to create their own activities and express their own personal counseling style. It’s the fact that we were the first International Summer Camp affiliated with the United Nations, and for sixty years our students and staff have represented all 50 states and over 60 countries.

Our staff often reflect on their summers at Windsor Mountain as some of the best of their lives. If you’d like to join us or just want to learn more, we’d love to speak with you soon!

MORE THAN A SUMMER JOB

Working at camp likely will be the most rewarding experience of your life. Beyond that, camp provides professional development and leadership opportunities that will translate well for your future success. You will develop and practice 21st century skills, like communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, problem-solving, creativity and flexibility, that will prepare you for success in the future. The leadership opportunities available in a camp setting are unlike most others available to young professionals. Just as importantly, you will gain a network of friends and colleagues from around the world.

“Windsor Mountain’s uniqueness is in its staff’s ability to bridge cultural divides with friendship, respect and understanding. I learned more than how to ride a mountain bike, play in a band, and paddle a kayak; I learned an entirely new way to approach intellectual, social and environmental issues that has stayed with me throughout my entire education and life.”
