Alice in Wonderland!
What a great visiting day! Thank you all for making the trip to visit. I hope you all enjoyed time with your campers and seeing the fantastic performance of Alice In Wonderland. I loved seeing the talented campers share with you the fruits of their hard work. I cannot praise Cindy and the entire performing arts, music and art departments enough for all of their hard work. And a special thanks to enrichment staff member Kim Dickinson and all of the costume designers for such beautiful costumes.
While we enjoyed seeing you all over the weekend, we’re already back into the swing of “regular” camp. Today, campers picked activities for the 6th and final rotation of the second session, which they will start on Thursday. The rain held off for most of the day and started again at the end of evening activity. Tonight, Rolo Booth and the gargoyles returned again for Hotrodicus Supersonicus – a favorite activity among the staff, LITs and campers alike. Tomorrow we’ll finish up our 5th rotation activities and enjoy a variety show at night.
As I walked out with my lunch today and saw the deck alive with activity – tetherball, ping pong, campers chatting with counselors, and guitar playing, it hit me that they will all be gone in a week. I know you will be excited to welcome them home, but I will be sad to see them leave their second home here in the Bubble.
Have a great night.
