Sharing Staff Stories: Part 2

For this instalment of our staff stories, I reached out to one of our bunk counselors, Amy. In her response she said that she couldn’t choose just one moment that stood out to her, so she asked me to choose between two. After reading them both, I definitely understand her dilemma. So here are two amazing Windsor Mountain Moments from Amy.

Bear!“The first one is when I took my kids up pitcher mountain to watch the sunrise and we saw a black bear on the path. The girls sang purple lilacs to scare it away and watch the bear run across fields. Then we climbed the watch tower to watch the sun rise over the mountains.”

Fbbe Fe Ae Cecbd” There was a thunderstorm before the Gala second session, and I had both my kids and the youngest girls in the dorms. We all got ready together and were singing along to the music. They were all doing each other’s make up and sharing dresses and making sure each other wasn’t scared of the lightning. It was such a beautiful girlhood moment!”
