Thank you from Windsor Mountain
Saying goodbye never gets easier — but what a summer we had together.
Your campers headed home this past week, and we hope they’re already unpacking their stories and sharing them with you around the dinner table.
Our hope — this summer and every summer — is that they’re coming home with lasting memories, deeper friendships, a little more confidence and compassion, new passions, and a genuine sense of how much each day has to offer. Oh, and at least one wacky story.
A heartfelt congratulations to our Leaders-in-Training who graduated from the LIT program at the close of this session. We are so proud of the people they are becoming.
And a special shoutout to the WMI staff — none of this happens without them. They show up every single day for your campers and we are endlessly grateful.
From everyone at Windsor Mountain, thank you for trusting us with your kids. We feel incredibly lucky to share our summers with them.
An Amazing Last Week!
Windsorpalooza! What a Super Happy Fun Day! We started the day with Super Free-Choice and the afternoon was full – with camper vs. counselor gatorball (campers won by the way), followed by Windsorpalooza – a massive water party! We had a giant slide, counselor dunk tank, DJ, concessions, custom stencil shirts, water fights and so much more! Campers and staff all had a blast.
Windsor Gala! We dressed in our camp finest, enjoyed appetizers on the deck, and gathered in the Meeting House to watch department videos and celebrate camper growth in activities with our Gala awards.
Theatrefest (gasp)! On departure day campers performed Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars! They worked so hard and had a blast performing for families and campers.
A 10 Year Camper!
At Windsor Mountain, we love celebrating the campers who keep coming back. Five year campers earn a compass, and seven year campers — our Lifetime Campers — receive a wood-engraved “tree-cookie” that lives permanently in the dining hall.
This summer, we celebrated a rare milestone. Nate C. completed his 10th summer at Windsor Mountain, making him just the third camper in WMI history to reach that mark. Nate, we are going to miss you around camp more than words can say — but we hope this is far from the last we see of you.

What a Session! Your campers showed up curious, kind, and open — trying new things, forging real connections, and making this summer everything we hoped it would be. A huge shoutout to our incredible staff, who brought it every single day as counselors, leaders, and mentors. We are so grateful.
