Beach Day at the Beach! 

We surprised camp with Beach Day! The buses rolled in, and before they knew it, campers were headed to Hampton Beach for a day of waves, sand, and pure summer joy. Whether they were splashing in the water or playing in the sand, the smiles said it all. One of the best days of the summer.

Ending Session 2 with a Bang!

What a Session 2. The campers have been wonderful, the activities diverse and fun, and the summer has delivered in every way. These final days are all about making memories that stick.

Yesterday, we gathered one last time in the sacred Red Pine Forest for our final Sunday Morning Meeting — a 30-minute hike in and a conversation about growing up and being your most authentic self. Later, camp came alive with a music festival themed booth activity, and we closed the night with a final Small Living Unit Night with our bunks.

Here’s how we’re sending Session 2 out in style:

• Super Happy Fun Day: Donuts for breakfast, Camper vs. Counselor Gatorball (a mix of every sport), Windsorpalooza (a water festival), Super Happy Free Choice, and the Windsor Gala to cap it all off with awards night.
• Paul and Paula Bunyan Day: We honor the legendary lumberjacks with a morning of lumberjacktivities followed by an epic obstacle course.
• LIT Graduation: Our Leaders in Training graduate from camp in a lovely ceremony.
• Final Slideshows and Campfire: One last community campfire before the summer is through.

Highlights from the Week

It was a truly incredible week at camp, here are some highlights:

• LIT Dance: the theme was Y2K
• Drum Circle: a night of music and culture hosted by Maroghini
• Thursday Night Lights: camper vs. counselor kickball game with music, concessions and a ton of fun.

A Look Back at our Menu!

In addition to all the incredible food the kitchen is serving we always have a cereal and yogurt bar plus a toasting station in the morning. For lunch and dinner, we always have a full salad bar and sun butter/jelly station.

 

This year we have additional options for meals like oatmeal every morning and for lunch we offer hummus plate, cheese plate or turkey sub!

Campers of the Day

Every day at morning meeting, a camper of the day is recognized by another camper in the community by passing on a necklace.

Aria M, had the necklace first and then it was passed on in the following order:

• Jordan L
• Cristbal P-C

They wear the necklace all day and then pass it on at the next morning meeting!
