Winter Update 2026!
We are a summer camp. We provide a safe, fun and transformative environment where children can grow and connect in meaningful ways. The experience is intended to be a welcome escape from the routine and challenges of everyday life for children who join us. These things are true.
We are more though. Windsor Mountain stands for and believes in certain values. We value respect and kindness; inclusivity and acceptance. A sense of belonging. With everything happening these days, I’m proud to be a part of an organization that reinforces beliefs that we think make the world a better place. Thanks for making what we do possible. Windsor Mountain’s 66th summer is on the way, and none too soon.
Reminder: Camp Ambassador Program
We are excited about our new camp ambassador program.
If you refer a new family to Windsor Mountain for this coming summer and that family enrolls a camper, we will credit your account $250 on the April 1 installment invoice (or refund that amount to you on or about April 1 if you have paid-in-full). Please see our last email on this subject for details or reach out to [email protected] if you have questions.
Simply share your love for Windsor Mountain with friends and family, and encourage them to contact us here to learn more.
Many of you have asked for a program like this, and we are happy to provide it as our way of saying, “thank you” for continuing to spread the word about your Windsor Mountain experience.
Exciting Facility Updates
We are so excited to share a sneak peak into what’s been going on at camp in preparation for summer 2026. As we mentioned back in the fall, we will have a brand new sports field for this coming summer (nice to see something green in January). In addition to that project, here are a few others:
New Cabin Showers
We have broken ground on building a new shower building for the Cabins between Cabin 3 and Cabin 4. Here is a drawing that will bring joy to all of the boys ages 7-12 who are excited to shower on a daily basis (so almost none of them…).
New Outdoor Cooking Pavilion
Just to the left of the Culinary Arts Building, we are building a new outdoor cooking pavilion to supplement our already popular cooking program. This will allow us to offer more culinary classes and ones that focus on outdoor cooking. Here is an early photo of the soon-to-be slab.
Major Kitchen Reno
We have embarked on a major renovation of our main kitchen. Not only are we replacing almost every surface in it, we also are expanding the kitchen “out back” near KP. This all will allow kitchen staff more space and optimal conditions for nourishing our camp community. Here is a photo of the gutted kitchen ready for a facelift.
Pup-Date
Work-in-progress construction photos are not as cute as a little puppy! It has only been a couple of months, but Oliver has almost doubled in size (at 16 lbs). Here is a picture of him after a fresh hair cut.
Staff Highlights
Say “hello” to one of our New Lifeguards! Nora is a 20-year-old student from Hungary who is studying Tourism and Hospitality. She has always wanted to travel the world and see as many countries as possible. Nora is genuinely passionate about working with children and brings extensive experience to the role. This summer, she is making her dream come true as a Camp Counselor and Waterfront Activity Leader. She is incredibly excited for the summer and can’t wait to meet everyone!
We are so excited to introduce you to our newest member of our Wilderness Trip team! This is Harper, He’s 23 originally from New Zealand but has spent the 2nd half of his life in the great country of Australia!! It’s super important to him for everyone to get along and have fun. He’s super into rock climbing, hiking, and outdoor adventures. This summer, he will be a trip leader taking the campers on 3-day, 2-night camp trips out in the wilderness. He can’t wait to show the kids the outdoors and everything it has to offer!!
We are thrilled to be welcoming Maria back to camp! Maria is originally from Puebla, Mexico. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, mountaineering, and outdoor exercise; however, her true passion is cooking. This summer, she’ll be joining the kitchen team as a cook and baker’s assistant, and she’s very excited to contribute her energy and dedication. She can’t wait to meet the new campers and help make every meal at camp warm, safe, and delicious.
